Daily Lunch Entrees
- As menued on the monthly menu calendar or salad bar daily.
- A student is required to take 3 components (Grain, Fruit, Vegetable, Meat, Milk) with at least 1 component being a fruit or vegetable to be considered a full reimbursable meal. If a student chooses to not take 3 components the meal will be charged using al a carte prices.
- Students choosing the salad bar will select at least two vegetables and one fruit and milk to complete a meal in addition to the lettuce. Options are Lettuce, 7 different vegetable, yogurt, string cheese, whole-grain crackers, diced ham or chicken, hard cooked eggs occasionally and a variety of fruits.
- Milk is available for those who bring lunch or want an extra with lunch at the cost of $.40.
- Water is also available at bottle filling stations.
Daily Breakfast Entrees
- Whole Grain Cereal, Yogurt, Fruit, Toast, Juice and Milk are offered daily.
- Students must take 3 items for a complete meal with one item being a fruit or juice to make a complete meal.
- If a hot entree is offered, the student will choose this or cereal. If both are taken, they will be charged for the cereal as an extra item. The charge is $0.85 cents.
Menu Charging Policy
- PCSD has a district-wide charging limit of $25.00 per family. Please make sure to send timely payments to avoid going over that limit. Payments can be made online via JMC or sent to school with your student.
Free/Reduced Meal Benefits
- A new application must be completed each school year. Applications are available in the district office.
Our menu has been planned to meet federal regulations. Over the course of each week, our menus meet the required calorie ranges, meat/meat alternate, grain ranges, and at least one if not more of the required fruit and vegetable groups.
